  • ​Experienced Recording Engineer/Mixer with over 20 years in the music industry. Has owned and operated his own studio since 1988. In addition, has spent many years as a freelance Engineer working in studios around the world.


  • Hundreds of records to his credit for labels such as Atlantic, Warner Bros., Sony, MCA, TVT, Prosthetic, American, Metalblade, Maverick, Interscope, Tooth And Nail, Equal Vision, and Sire. Earned an R.I.A.A. Gold Certification for DJ Kool's "Let Me Clear My Throat".


  • Has also mixed many live broadcasts for MTV, VH1, and BET with artists such as The Neville Brothers, Lyle Lovett, Bonnie Raitt, Linkin Park, H.I.M., Jack's Mannequin, Panic At The Disco, Common, Akon, Jazmine Sullivan, and Nas. Served as Engineer In Charge for AT&T's New Orleans Jazzfest 2009 broadcast.


  • Has over 10 years experience in audio education as an adjunct instructor at The Sheffield Institute For The Recording Arts. Currently focusing on mixing various genres of music and helping young artists develop their sound.

Career Highlights:

  • Tim moved to Nashville in 1993 and was signed to a publishing deal with writer publisher Jerry Capehart. 

  • Engineering on with many great projects with producers and artists including Wyatt Easterling, The Red Clay Ramblers and Don Dixon who produced REM’s “Murmur” album.

  • In 1993 he opened his first recording studio, West End Recorders. While there he had the chance to record some of the best musicians in the business and to work with Denny Purcell one of the greatest mastering engineers in the country with over 500 Gold and Platinum albums to his credit.

  • Tim now lives in Rochester, Minnesota where he owns and operates the Camel Back Studio, performs live, and is the Concert Coordinator for the Mayo Clinic.
