“Van Halen has always been known for strong group vocals and we never felt or sounded better than on the last tour. Being exhausted, sick or worn out from traveling didn’t affect our voices at all because the preparation was harder than the gig. A vocal workout with Pete Strobl kicking your ass is like being in the gym with a personal trainer. Nobody teaches like Pete.”

“It was two weeks before my most important performance yet. I was completely losing my voice and started to panic. My bass player recommended Pete, as he had already worked with him in the past. When I first worked with Pete I was surprised by how simple yet effective his approach was. By the end of those two weeks my voice was completely back and I had the strongest vocal performance I’d ever had.” Anthony De La Torre—Singer, Actor, Musician   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o9Ufe1uIQ8c

“As a vocalist who has sung professionally for more than two decades, I have found Pete Strobl to be a singer's dream.  He not only understands the mechanical workings of the vocal cords, diaphragm, etc., he understands and communicates what it takes to make a song impactful; to sing from a very internal place, and then direct it outward, so that there is emotional resonance.  Any singer or aspiring singer would be safe and well-guided under his excellent care.”   Angela Carole Brown—Singer/Composer/Recording Artist    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6LylHjG9KG0

“Pete’s specialized knowledge and his ability to communicate the meaning “between the lines” combined with a strong concentration and a great portion of humour makes him a remarkable pedagogue. His extensive skills would prompt me to send him students not only for Rock and Pop but also for any belcanto arias.” Prof. Mag. Regina Hopfgartner, University of Music and Dramatic Arts

Mozarteum” Salzburg, Austria

“Pete Strobl’s expertise in the studio has been invaluable to my productions. His knowledge of technique is extensive and his ability to draw out the very best performance a singer has to offer makes working with him a pleasure.”  Gary Miller—Producer/David Bowie, Simply Red, Andrea Bocelli

“Pete's knowledge of music is extraordinary.  Whether actually playing a bass part, coaching every musician in the room, especially the guitar players on how to get more out of their instrument, or jumping in and working with the singers, he manages to help every artist perform at a higher level. And does so without intimidating or loosing the critical flow and timing of each session. Every singer we worked with mentioned appreciation for his phrasing contributions and encouragement to attain their particular magic.” Ron Hitchcock—Producer/Engineer/Mixer
