  • Made his living composing, performing and producing mainstream jazz, evocative solo piano ballads, quirky pop songs, a quasi-avant-garde funk fable, and pieces for film and TV

  • Bill has recorded extensively and appeared as soloist, accompanist and band leader throughout the United States and does annual European tours

  • Lectures at media school SAE Institute where he authored and taught their Music Theory and Music Business courses in Miami,

  • Composes an occasional TV or film track (licenses include “Nashville”, “Rizzoli & Isles”, “Entourage”).  

  • His DYI music textbook It’s Music, Not Theory, Damn It!  and online course Music, No Theory are considered solid, down-to-earth tools for aspiring musicians. 

  • Taught in Boston, New York City, Los Angeles, Vienna, Miami and now Baltimore

  • A graduate of Wiesbaden Conservatory in Germany and Berklee College of Music
