BIO:

Eric Vermeulen owns the Dutch company Mc-Ent management & Concerts which was founded in 1997. The company has focused on personal European management and guidance of artists and is specialized in Canadian artists. The genres represented focus on originality including indie, folk and roots with a focus on artist who are interested in organizing tours in Europe.

European career development is supported by Eric's own label with European distribution, a publishing company, a private social network and a theater impresario. All this enables Eric to direct to more attention to the artist. Eric mixed and produced client Laura Vinson's award winning 'Warrior' and Laura Vinson & Free Spirit are nominated by the “Canadian Folk Music Awards” in the category “Aboriginal Songwriter Of The Year”.

"I can enjoy a good folk song just on guitar but also a huge stage production in which all individual elements such as artist, band, light, sound, video and stage design come together into a whole. During each production, a festival, a theater or in the studio during a recording, I try to bring out the best in artists. Back to the source: PASSION! This must be reflected in each performance on every sound carrier and in every interview. Whether it's an audience of 25 people in a living room or a festival with 50,000 people in a stadium. "

Eric began his professional career at the age of 18 when he was hired by a large theater-television producer. Later, Eric started his own sound studio where he soon began to advise artists in the field of singing, text perception but also stage presence.
