BIO:

Deborah Ledon is a formidable force of tenacity and talent. Her 20 year career, has taken her throughout Canada and the United States, as a front for rock, funk, country, blues, Big Band and jazz bands featuring top professional musicians. She’s also shared the stage with Paul Anka and Mike Reno of Canada’s Loverboy. Her willingness to grow as an artist is well-known, and her fearlessness and integrity are well respected.

Following her passion has led to many prestigious shows and awards. Her first release, Spilling Inside Out, was a collection of original material which won 2004 Best New Jazz/ Folk Artist in the U.K., and charted on the 2005 Euro-Americana charts. Her 2009 TD Vancouver International Jazz Festival performance at CBC Studio One was broadcast Canada-wide. At the 2010 TD Vancouver International Jazz Festival, she was the closing act.  Deborah and her team of professional players represented Canada at the 2010 Cultural Olympiad, and performed at the exclusive Harmony Arts Festival for four consecutive years. In 2013 she was awarded Vancouver’s “Best of the City”.

Deborah has been sharing her voice and heart with numerous recording projects in both English and Spanish. Her second self-released album, Diving For Pearls was released in September of 2014 and has been receiving accolades. Her Christmas song made it on the U.S. Billboard Charts and reached # 11 on the Smooth Jazz Top 20 Charts. 

She has worked as a nurse, teacher (English, Spanish, yoga & dance) as well as a public speaker who founded, organized and led three business groups which focused on connecting entrepreneurs. Deborah enjoys leading workshops, coaching and mentoring those who wish to push themselves beyond their comfort zones in order to reach their potential. Her warm, engaging tough-love approach allows for honest sharing with confidentiality always assured.
